PFA Updates

Now that the stock market has settled down, we wanted to update you on some happenings here at PFA, to keep you in the loop during this very strange time.
 

First of all, we are all well and our families have remained healthy thus far. All of our spouses who work outside the home are continuing to do so. Navigating the new workplace guidelines has certainly been an adjustment, but we are doing okay.

Some other news:

-We have updated our phone system, which has given us state-of-the-art connection and features, allowing us to communicate with you from both offices, and from our cell phones when we are working from home. We are still learning all the new features, so thank you for being patient with us in the process.

-We are doubling the size of our Canton office. Our location remains the same, but we have expanded into the adjacent office and beginning on July 1, 2020, we will have more team members permanently housed in Canton.

-After 20 years at Canal Place, we are looking to "right size" and move our Akron office to another location in downtown Akron by the end of October. No decisions have been finalized, but we will keep you posted.

-We are excited to announce that on June 15, we have a new team member joining us! She will be working in the Akron office, and we will share more details soon.

-We had three client events planned for June, July, and September. Sadly, all are cancelled because of the pandemic. We hope to have an event before 2020 is over, but we will have to see what mandates Governor DeWine has in place this fall.

-Also due to the pandemic, the Rubberducks season has been postponed until at least June 15. We will have tickets available for you when/if the season opens, and we will keep you posted.

-We successfully completed our Passport to Retirement Workshop at Jackson High School this past winter before the pandemic. We plan to do another one in the fall, but it depends on what is happening at schools.

-We have a team ready to run the Akron marathon relay in September if the event is not cancelled. We will be running to raise money for the Alzheimer's Association. Look for updates in the next month or so!
