PFA Updates

A couple weeks ago, I had the pleasure of accompanying Tom, Ken, and Dan to an educational conference in Florida sponsored by TD Ameritrade. Although initially overwhelmed by the sheer size of the event, I soon realized what a great opportunity it was to hear different viewpoints about the economy, and to see a variety of key-note speakers. Technology was a hot topic in many of the discussions, including ways to utilize technology to enhance the client experience and increase team efficiency. I saw an “office of the future,” demonstrating state-of-the-art technology within the workplace, and learned about artificial intelligence assistants, which reminded me of something straight out of a sci-fi novel. Each evening, we all shared dinner and discussed highlights from the sessions we attended, as well as ways we might begin to implement changes in our own office. Don’t worry, though, we know that technology cannot replace the human experience, so we will always work to find a balance!
